Beet Salad Recipe
Grated Beets, Lightly Seasoned
- In a small saucepan, boil in water for 5 minutes.
- 1 large or 2 medium beets, peeled
- It will still be quite firm. Then grate or shred it.
- In a small bowl, combine the shredded beet with:
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2-1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/2-1 teaspoon ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 cumin/coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
